G'day and welcome to the next 14 Days of your Harbour to the Rock reverse trip! Kick start your Northern Territory adventure at an outback camel farm before making your way to Kings Canyon Resort for lunch. In the afternoon you hike the magnificent Kings Canyon, exploring the Amphitheatre, breathtaking North and South Walls, the Lost City and Garden of Eden. After an outdoor dinner, enjoy sitting around the fire before star-gazing from the comfort of your swag (Aussie bedroll).

Up early today as we make our way to the natural wonder and famous Australian Icon that is Uluru also known as Ayres Rock. After lunch at our campground, the moment you have been waiting for… we get up close and personal with the Rock as we walk a section of the base. You will then get an insight to the local Aboriginal culture from your guide before watching the desert sunset change the colours of Uluru. Time for us to head to Yulara to fire up the BBQ for dinner and marvel at the serenity on this unique outback location.

Witness a magical Uluru sunrise, a stunning way to start your day. We then visit the Uluru Cultural Centre to further your insight into the amazing Anangu way of life. Enjoy the vast landscapes as we travel across the National Park towards Kata Tjuta. Here we explore the magnificent features of this ancient geological formation during a Valley of the Winds hike. Enjoy some lunch before we make our way back to the Stuart Highway for our nights rest in Erldunda. A hearty meal and some reflection time of what has been seen is the theme here as we change gears for the next instalment of our journey.

This morning we cross the border into South Australia leaving the Red Centre behind and travel across the vast outback plains - destination Coober Pedy. On the way we'll stop to take in the awe-inspiring Breakaways Scenic Reserve. This region is rightly known as the Opal Capital of the World, we discover this remarkable underground place as we take you on a town tour and visit the local sights.

Enjoy a leisurely afternoon with a tour of an underground house to see how locals survive living in the harsh desert environment of Coober Pedy followed by a tour of the Umoona Opal Mine to learn more about the discovery and mining of precious opal, Australia's National Gemstone. We then get down and dirty on a visit to the outdoor opal 'noodling' site where you may strike it rich fossicking for real opal! Meet some local wildlife and learn about rescued joey's at a local Kangaroo Orphanage during feeding time. Departing Coober Pedy we cross the Moon Plain, where we discover the spectacular scenery used in the filming of many Hollywood movie blockbusters such as 'Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome', 'Pitch Black' and riotous Australian comedy 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert'! Dine at the World famous John's Pizza Bar & Restaurant the tonight we sleep in underground bunkhouses…

Heading Southbound we make a brief stop in the sheep-farming township of Glendambo - population 30. Marvel at the enormous salt lakes and flat, saltbush plains of the Woomera Area where we learn about Australia's military weapons testing then explore the surface of a salt lake for some excellent photos.

Travelling through Port Augusta we turn East leaving the Stuart Highway and through the Pichi Richi Pass destined for the Southern Flinders Ranges widely considered one of the most attractive natural landscapes in Australia; the Ranges combine adventure, spirituality and tranquillity. Later we check in at our accommodation before we relax over a friendly Aussie Pub dinner.

On our way towards the National Park this morning, we immerse ourselves in the fascinating history of the area with a walk to Arkaroo Rock (Aboriginal Art) and a visit to Kanyaka Ruins (European settlement). We enter into the National Park, a place where majestic scenery meets tranquil vibes. The group will take a hike through the Flinders Ranges, one of Australia's most stately and imposing landscapes. Take in the natural amphitheatre of Wilpena Pound, set amongst an ancient crater formed millions of years ago, or just soak up the stillness.

After lunch at Wilpena Pound Resort we are on the look out for emu and kangaroo while enjoying a scenic drive through Parachilna Gorge, one of Australia's most attractive and iconic natural landscapes. Taking in the views from Stokes Hill Lookout then end the day with a spectacular sunset across the South Australia's western plains highlighting the breathtaking Central Flinders Ranges! Enjoy drinks and a very special wild outback feast in the unique Prairie Hotel before our overnight stay in one of the smallest towns in Australia, Parachilna.

Our journey commences with an early start as the Festival City of Adelaide awaits! We stop along the way to take a walk then lunch in the historic town of Melrose. Travelling through the picturesque Clare Valley, we stop for afternoon tea at Sevenhill Cellars with time to sample the award-winning wines at the oldest winery in the valley. Our day rounds out with a visit to the Barossa Reservoir Whispering Wall, a fascinating accident of design with surprising results. Tonight enjoy live music at one of the many local venues.

Take this free day to explore beautiful Adelaide and its nearby attractions. Perhaps visit the nearby Barossa Valley, famed for its world class wines. Or maybe you'd rather catch a tram down to Glenelg and hit the beach (both own expense). Grab one of the free bikes and take in the scenery at your own pace. Or take a day trip to the nearby beauty of Kangaroo Island. The choice is yours! Tonight enjoy live music at one of the many local venues.

The morning will see us traverse the nearby hills then cross the famed mighty Murray River, before travelling through to the Victorian Border. Then we'll travel to the Grampians National Park and a place of great significance for the Indigenous population. Pass through the rugged beauty and discover truly spectacular views from the top after a good hike to one of the peaks.

This morning we have a visit to the Brambuk Aboriginal Culture Centre and learn more of the ancient Dreamtime stories. Your creative skills will be assessed as we create personalised souvenirs to take home. Passing through Halls Gap, we head south to the Great Ocean Road where we'll take time to explore several natural landscapes including The Arch, London Bridge and the Bay of Martyrs, these are sure to be a great addition to the photo albums. We'll finish up at the friendly town of Port Campbell, nestled amongst the cliffs and pines.

This morning brings us to the magnificent Twelve Apostles rock formation, as well as the beautiful Loch Ard Gorge. A short break from the coast, we venture to the top of the forest at the Otway Tree Top Walk - a wonderful way to get a feel for Victoria's natural beauty whilst perched amongst the birds. Back down to the seaside for lunch as we pass through the coastal towns of Apollo Bay and Lorne.

The tail end of the majestic Great Ocean Road will bring us towards famed surf location Bells Beach, then direct into Melbourne navigating the city streets with the famous trams and to our accommodation. This itinerary is valid for departures 1 April 2013 - 31 March 2014 and is subject to change without notice.

(WILSONS PROMONTORY)

G'day and welcome to the next 3 Days of your Great Alpine Way trip with Topdeck! Leaving from this great city, we'll navigate the roads with the famous Melbourne trams and head for the most southerly point of the Australian mainland; Wilson's Promontory. Here we take in a National Park of great natural beauty where kangaroos and emus live amongst the verdant green bushland, with the crashing waves not far away. We'll hike up the granite walkway to a nearby lookout and then check out the famous Squeaky Beach. Our afternoon journey tracks us out to the edge of the Tasman Sea and to our overnight break on the Edge of the coastal Lakes.

Our morning drive northbound heads up through the magnificent Alpine High Country made famous by the movie "The Man from Snowy River". We get a taste for a mountain lifestyle before we cross borders into New South Wales via the Barry Way. We may be high up already, but later today we're going even higher - Mt Kosciuszko, Australia's highest peak at 2,228 metres above sea level. Don't be put off: it's a relatively moderate hike from the top of the express chairlift, or you can take the shorter walk to the lookout point. If your trip travels in winter (June - September) we'll stop to check out the ski resort of Perisher for a little snow-related fun. Our evening destination is placed right in the heart of the Australia's Snowy Mountains.

After a hearty breakfast, we'll travel across the Monaro plains and learn a little about Australia's biggest ever engineering project, the Snowy Mountains Scheme. Then we are bound straight for the Nation's Capital, Canberra. Architecturally designed from the ground up by Walter Burley Griffin, it's awash with cool green spaces and grand boulevards. We'll tour the iconic Parliament House set atop a slight incline, as well as the Australian War Memorial, even pass by a number of Foreign Embassies. Destined for the largest city in Australia we are welcomed by the busy city streets of Sydney.
