Itinerary
Day 1 - Alice Springs to Kata Tjuta & Uluru
We travel through the James and Waterhouse Ranges to the Outback Camel Farm where many passengers will have their first opportunity to ride a camel (at own expense). We journey onto Uluru (Ayers Rock) viewing the ancient Hugh and Finke River Systems, Mt Connor and the unique scenery along the way. After lunch, we set out to explore the wonder of Kata Tjuta (Olgas) and hike the spectacular Valley of the Winds before enjoying a glass of sparkling wine while watching the sun set over Uluru. After a delicious dinner, view the brilliance of the outback sky then settle down for the night in your safari accommodation. (LD)
Day 2 - Uluru to Kings Canyon
An early start for one of the highlights of the tour -the Uluru sunrise. Enjoy a walk around the base exploring the mysterious rock formations and Aboriginal art sites while watching the changing light on the desert or you can choose to climb Uluru. A visit to the Cultural Centre offers the chance to view and purchase Aboriginal arts and crafts. After lunch we depart for Kings Canyon where we enjoy dinner before relaxing in our overnight safari accommodation. (BLD)
Day 3 - Kings Canyon to Alice Springs
We climb and explore Kings Canyon viewing impressive formations of the 'Amphitheatre', the 'Lost City', the picturesque 'Garden of Eden' and the breathtaking North & South Walls. After lunch we depart for Alice Springs. (BL)
