Mount Connor Outback Safari
Tour Code: SO-01
Price: Adult- $230 ; Child- $170 (6- 15 yrs)
Departs: Daily - early afternoon from 2:00pm
Description: Mount Conner, the third of the great monoliths, is 100kms east of Uluru and on the western fringe of the vast cattle station, Curtin Springs. As the tour follows the 4WD tracks, you will discover salt lakes which are remnants of ancient inland oceans, examine fossilised remains of the oldest life forms on earth, but best of all, experience Australia's rugged outback. This tour provides a fantastic opportunity to see native animals in the wild and there are spectacular lookouts along the way. With the imposing Mount Conner changing colour in the background, we toast the sunset with complimentary champagne and wonder how lonely yet splendid, it would have been to live in such a place that seems like the loneliest place in the world. Then in the gathering night we drive to the Curtin Springs cattle station, where we enjoy a three- course dinner prepared by the station cook, before returning to Ayers Rock Resort.
