With just 15 tents in total at Longitude 131° you only have to share this amazing experience with just a few others.

A white dome roof and flowing fabric draped from the centre create the illusion of camping. But unlike the early pioneers and explorers, guests revel in sublime comfort. The flick of a bedside switch is all it takes to raise the blinds and watch the spectacular moods of Uluru at sunrise. Meticulously designed to remain cool in summer and warm in winter, you have reverse cycle air-conditioning for complete control over your personal climate.

The evening also offers up an experience to last a lifetime. Dine out under the spectacular desert night sky at Table 131°. An intimate three-course dinner is served with the finest wines under a glittering canopy of stars. This is, without doubt, the perfect way to wind down after an amazing day of discovery.

Children 12 years and under are not catered for at Longitude 131°.

Breakfast

Breakfast features a mouth watering selection from the continental buffet, including fruits in season, pastries, breads and confits. Superb a la carte cooked breakfasts are also available to order.

Lunch

Tours return to Longitude 131° at approximately 12.00 for a gourmet lunch or tastings plates which vary according to the season with inclusive drinks.

Dinner -  Table 131° - Dining Under the Stars

Table 131° is an unforgettable dining experience not to be missed. Dine out on sumptuous outback fare and discover the wonders of the southern night sky. Experience stunning 360° views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta from the Dune Top while enjoying sunset drinks and canapés. Then feast on three delicious courses complemented with the finest Australian wines at our outdoor dining venue under the stars. Return to the Dune House for complimentary after dinner drinks.

Gourmet Dinner in the Dune House

Dining in the Dune HouseDining at Longitude is generally a shared experience where you can meet and enjoy the company of our outback "family" together whilst enjoying our daily changing modern Australian cuisine enhanced by indigenous flavours.

Relax over pre-dinner drinks and canapés served in the Dune House 30 minutes after returning from your tour. Then enjoy a three course dinner with chosen wines either with your fellow guests or sitting separately.

Arrangements can be also made on arrival or during your stay for you to dine in the library area or in your room (limited availability).

Private Dining

Private dining is also available on the Dune Top or poolside. An additional charge of $250 per couple applies for these services. This charge may vary depending on logistics and requirements.

Getting There

A complimentary return 4wd transfer will take you from Ayers Rock Airport to Voyages Longitude 131°, the short transfer meets every scheduled flight.

At Longitude 131° guests take the road less travelled, sharing exclusive and authentic experiences with only a few others.

An exceptional touring program designed exclusively for guests, is included in your luxury wilderness experience at Longitude 131°. For those looking for a custom and personalised itinerary, optional tours are also available.

Tours are scheduled on a 2 day rotational basis for a specific time and date. Tour times are seasonal and subject to sunrise and sunset times which vary throughout the year, weather permitting. Additional costs apply to private dining and the optional tours highlighted in the sample itinerary.

Touring Experiences  

Day 1 - Cultural Centre, Uluru & Kantju Gorge Sunset

Ayer Rock by dayAfter arriving at Longitude 131° and settling in, meet in the Dune House for a 3pm departure to the Cultural Centre where you will learn the cultural and spiritual meanings of Uluru & Kata Tjuta. Afterwards you will travel to Uluru, where we will take a short walk into Kantju Gorge. On arrival at the gorge we will serve refreshments 'inside' Uluru and watch the sunset. You will return to Longitude 131° at approximately 7.15pm.
On your return, relax in the Dune House over pre-dinner drinks and canapés before enjoying a gourmet dinner with your fellow travellers or for a special occasion a private dinner by the pool or on the Dune Top.

Day 2 - Kata Tjuta & Walpa Gorge and Table 131°

Camel Trek by UluruDepart Longitude 131° at 6am bound for Kata Tjuta. Upon arrival you will begin your journey with a guided tour of Walpa Gorge, where the natural history of Kata Tjuta is explained in great detail, learning how eons of weathering and continental upheaval have created what is seen today. You will return to Longitude 131° at approximately 10am.

Afternoon
Spend your afternoon at leisure or take the opportunity to enjoy any of our optional tours, such as a camel ride, harley ride or helicopter tour over Uluru and Kata Tjuta.

Evening - Table 131°
Enjoy sunset drinks and canapés on the Dune Top from 6pm. You will then be transferred to our outdoor dining venue, where you'll have an unforgettable dining experience under the stars. Return to the Dune House for complimentary after dinner drinks.

Day 3 - Uluru Sunrise Base Tour

Ayers Rock SunsetDepart the Dune House at 6am for Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to view the sun rising over Uluru. You'll then continue to the Mutitjulu Waterhole to view cave paintings and hear of the Kuniya/Liru Tjukurpa story. You will return to the Dune House at 9.15am for a well-earned continental buffet and a la carte cooked breakfast.

Afternoon & Evening
An airport transfer will be organised to meet your flight if you are departing after 2 nights.
Staying a third night at Longitude 131° offers you the ability to really relax and take in the beauty of Australia's Red Centre. Spend your afternoon at leisure or take an optional tour such as the Aboriginal Dot Painting Workshop. In the evening enjoy a private dinner by the pool or a gourmet dinner in the Dune House.
