"Edith Falls is located on the western side of Katherine Gorge where you can enjoy swimming in the paperbark and pandanus fringed natural pool at the base of the falls most of the year, although it may be closed to swimming between November and April."

Itinerary

Day 1: Darwin - Kakadu

We join the famous Jumping Crocodile Cruise. Enjoy lunch in Kakadu National Park. Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre. There is time for an optional 30 minute scenic flight (A$130 approx). Enjoy a guided walk to view rock art and then to the top of Ubirr for great views.

Day 2: Kakadu - Katherine

Take a guided walk at Nourlangie Rock to view Aboriginal rock art. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and view the informative exhibits and displays. After lunch join a cruise on Yellow Water Billabong. Travel to Katherine.

Day 3: Katherine - Darwin

Enjoy a breakfast cruise through Katherine Gorge and be amazed by its sheer sandstone cliffs. Inspect the National Park Information Centre. Continue to beautiful Edith Falls, where there is time to take a refreshing swim (conditions permitting). Visit the Adelaide River War Cemetery before returning to Darwin.
