Overview
Reef Odyssey is a 35 metre expedition style cruise vessel designed to provide the utmost comfort and stability at sea. Cruising the Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands Reef Odyssey caters for a maximum of 39 guests. Accommodation is available in cabins, staterooms and deluxe staterooms, all with private en-suites. The ship is fully air-conditioned and has comfortable lounge areas, dining room and cocktail bar.
A highlight of the itinerary includes a visit to one of the most spectacular reef systems on the Great Barrier Reef, the 'Reef River' a 16km channel that winds its way through 70 metre deep coral chasms, creating a matrix of the most amazing hues of blues and greens.
Stroll the endless white silica sands of Whitehaven Beach then sit back with your favourite cocktail and take in the splendour of the Whitsundays at sunset. There is lots of time for snorkelling, scuba diving, coral viewing or just relaxing.
Guests have the opportunity to participate in guided walks through this World Heritage area and our Marine Biology Guide will accompany guests on snorkelling tours and island rainforest walks. Reef Odyssey also has two coral viewing vessels for those who prefer to remain above water level. Our Dive Instructor is able to assist inexperienced divers wishing to see our underwater wonderland first hand and those with formal diving qualifications are well catered for with a fully equipped diving facility.
