Itinerary

Sailing holidays exploring beautiful locations such as Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island, Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island, Mantaray Bay and Nara Inlet at Hook Island. We sail past famous resort locations like Hayman Island, Hamilton Island and Daydream Island.

During our sailing tours guests can get involved and learn the sailing basics, there is time to snorkel and swim on the island coral fringing reefs.

Meals

To top off your adventure, we provide a feast of freshly prepared meals.

• Continental breakfast
• Morning tea of fruit cake, tea & coffee
• Lunch of quiches, breads, pasta and green tossed salads plus fresh tropical fruits
• Pre-dinner snacks of of nachos, cheese, dips & crackers
• Dinner of succulent chicken breast cooked on the BBQ, served with Rice, satay, salad and breads
• Dessert of fruit and custard

About British Defender

British Defender is a high tech Whitbread Around the World Racing Maxi. BD was raced by the British armed services in the 1990 Around World Race.

Winner of the 2001 & 2004 Whitsunday Fun Race.

Built in Lymington, England, British Defender is a sloop design, 83ft in length, 20ft wide, built of high tech Carbon Fibre with a mast extending 115ft above the deck.

The boat is open plan downstairs, some of the features include headroom higher than 6ft, 2 dining tables, 3 bathrooms. On deck the boat is really wide, so there's space to chill out, plus there is a shade awning built into the boom. The racing background will ensure a tour aboard BD will be an exciting experience.

Guests travelling on 2 day 2 night British Defender tour departing at 2pm in the afternoon are asked to check in by 11.30am on the day of departure., The check In Office is open from 7.30am until 8.15pm daily..
