Day 1 - Adelaide to Flinders Chase
You will be picked up from your accommodation if in central Adelaide and transferred to Cape Jervis for your ferry to the Island. On arrival at Kangaroo Island, your guide welcomes you with an island introduction before your wilderness adventure begins. First we drive through Penneshaw on route to glorious Pennington Bay. After a picnic lunch at a secluded location, we have a unique wildlife encounter where we wander amongst the rare Australian Sea Lion colony at Seal Bay. The opportunity to watch the Sea Lions up-close is an experience not to be missed. Next we trek over the sand dunes of Little Sahara. Onward we journey along the South Coast road seeking out the fluffy looking gumleaf eater - better known as the Koala. In the late afternoon, keep an eye out for Tammar Wallabies & Kangaroo’s grazing on one of the tailored short walks. Very exciting!! Tonight after dinner we’ll have the opportunity to seek out the nocturnal wildlife once more or swap stories under the clear starry skies.

Day 2 - Flinders Chase to Adelaide
It's an early start today so that we are amongst the first to experience Flinders Chase National Park, visit the magnificent formation of Admirals Arch and get up close with New Zealand Fur Seals as they frolic in the Southern Ocean. In the months of May-September you may even be lucky enough to spot Southern Right Whales from this spectacular view point. After a short drive, we then wander through the geological monuments of Remarkable Rocks, an incredible display of millions of years of wind & ocean weathering. Next stop is Rocky River Headquarters where, through the interpretive centre we learn more about the island habitat including the recent find of Mega-Fauna in the nearby locality. After lunch take a short wilderness trek on any one of three bushland trails. Here we allow plenty of time for photos of the exquisite flora & fauna, taking in the contrasting river and coastal scenery. We then head to one of the beautiful secluded beaches of the North Coast of Kangaroo Island, Western River Cove, Snelling Beach and Stokes Bay are dotted along the island North Coast. Late in the day, there is further opportunity for viewing Kangaroos and Tammar Wallabies as they come out to graze in the open fields.
