Travelling northeast of Launceston, enjoy the changing landscape of heritage farms, forests and mining towns we spend the afternoon at the breathtaking Bay of Fires, where you can take a stroll along the gleaming white sands or a swim in the clear turquoise water if the weather’s good. We stay overnight in the seaside township of Bicheno. After dinner, you can choose to take a local guided tour to see fairy penguins nesting (at own expense). (LD)

Day 2 - Bicheno to Port Arthur

Lavender FieldsHike stunning Freycinet National Park for sweeping views of Wineglass Bay and beyond. Tonight, take the spine chilling Port Arthur Ghost Tour for a glimpse into Australia's convict past (own expense). We stay the night at Port Arthur. (BLD)
