2 Day Tasmanian East Coast Island Discovery

This 2-day tour is ideal for taking in the highlights of Tasmania's East Coast. Your journey includes the beautiful Bay of Fires, where the beaches are gleaming and the water inviting. On day two we start at Freycinet National Park and walk to the iconic Wineglass Bay where you can relax on the secluded beach or choose the more challenging Mt Amos or Hazards Beach walk for your morning's Freycinet experience. Then we continue down the East Coast shoreline towards Hobart to visit Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to come face to face with the Tasmanian devil as well as some others unique to Tasmanian wildlife.

We head straight to the East Coast and the beautiful Bay of Fires. If the conditions are right, this the perfect opportunity for a swim.

Tasmania's most scenic coastal drive takes you from St Helens to Bicheno, where you may want to join an evening viewing of the Little Penguins (optional at your own expense and seasonal).

Overnight: Bicheno

An early start means we are the first to the Wineglass Bay lookout, beating the crowds and the heat for that postcard photo. Relax on the secluded beach or choose the more

challenging Mt Amos or Hazards Beach walk. Meet the iconic Tasmanian devil as we stop at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, before a short drive back to Hobart.

Note

  • The price advertised is based on hostel accommodation in dormitory rooms, with shared facilities. But you may opt to upgrade private room with shared facility in a Hostel or Private  en-suite room in a Motel.
  • There are no child price, if you would like to take your child ( Over 10 year) you need to pay the Adult rate also Child is not allowed to accommodate in a dorm share accommodation, you should upgrade private room. 

 What to  bring 

  • A towel, (do not require a sleeping bag as all linen is provided)  a warm jacket, rain jacket, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, swimming gear, beanie, scarf and gloves (winter tours), camera, personal toiletries, comfortable walking shoes and change of shoes for evenings. 

Cancellation Policy For This Tour

  • We may charge the following fees if you cancel your booking before departure; 30 days or more: 25% of fare. 8 to 29 days: 50% of fare. 0 to 7 days: 100% of fare. Fees up to $100 may be charged for booking amendments.
