Itinerary
Day 1 - Launceston to Cradle Mountain
Go west and spend the day at Cradle Mountain exploring some of the numerous walks within the world heritage listed national park. Take a stroll around Dove Lake, or head off to test your lungs with a hike to Marion's Lookout or on one of the many other great walks.
Overnight: Cradle Mountain

Day 2 - Cradle Mountain to Strahan
Head from the mountains to a waterfall walk along the old train line to Montezuma Falls on your way to the coast. Climb Henty Sand Dunes and stroll along the endless stretch of Ocean Beach with nothing but the wild "Roaring Forties" between you and South America.

Day 3 - Strahan to Hobart
Head south and inland today with a short walk to Nelson Falls, and take a drink from the famous Franklin River, where you'll learn about the beginning of the Greens Party. Drop in at Lake St Clair then finish the day at Mt Field NP and photogenic Russell Falls. Hug a tall tree goodbye then relax on your way back to Hobart through the picturesque Derwent Valley.

Day 4 - Hobart to Bicheno
Head up into Tasmania's rural midlands to the historic town of Ross. Then head east to Coles Bay and join the group on a walk to look at world famous Wineglass Bay. Finish the day in Bicheno, home to the Little Penguins who make their way home to their rookeries each night upon dark.

Day 5 - Bicheno to Launceston
Soak up the coastal scenery along the entire east coast through Scamander and St Helens. Stretch your legs and engage your senses with a peaceful beach walk at the Bay of Fires. Travel through some relict rainforest in the Blue Tiers Region and finish the day in Launceston.
