The Melbourne – Devonport service provides passengers with flexibility and convenience when planning their Tasmanian holiday. The twin ships depart each port daily at 8pm and arrive the following morning at 7am.

Deluxe Cabins
Sail in style in a Deluxe Cabin, which is suitable for two passengers.
Deluxe Cabins feature a queen size bed, private facilities, colour television and magnificent porthole views. You will also discover a bottle of sparkling wine in your cabin fridge on arrival.
Twin Cabins
Cross Bass Strait in comfort in a Twin Cabin with two single beds.
Twin Cabins include your own private facilities and your choice of a porthole view or inside cabin.
Ocean View Recliners
Ocean View Recliners are located in a private lounge accessible only by swipe card.
Eachseat reclines for comfort and features an individual reading light. Storage for passenger belongings is provided.
Four Berth Cabins
Four Berth Cabins contain four bunk beds and private facilities.
Select from a porthole view or an inside cabin.
Facilities on Board Ship
Meals are available for you to purchase throughout the Melbourne to Devonport journey and you can choose from two dining styles. Select from a variety of reasonably-priced hot and cold savoury dishes and continental breakfast items in our self-service eatery. Alternatively, if you're looking for a special night to remember, dine on fine Tasmanian produce in the elegant, yet friendly surrounds of our a la carte restaurant.
When you make the journey between Melbourne and Devonport, dinner and brunch is included in your fare. You can select from a variety of hot and cold dishes from the buffet style restaurant.

Enjoy a relaxing drink, or snack on a sweet or savoury treat, in one of our modern and comfortable bars located on board each Spirit of Tasmania vessel.

When travelling between Melbourne and Devonport you can enjoy the view and sip a cool drink as you relax in our Atrium. When crossing between Melbourne and Devonport you can visit one of our bars on Deck 9 and 10, which are open during daytime crossings.

Audio Visual Entertainment
Television monitors are located throughout the public areas, offering movies, music clips, sporting highlights and bloopers.

Complimentary movies are screened during each journey from Sydney to Devonport. Films are also shown during the daytime crossings between Melbourne and Devonport.
