Situated close to the powerful Mitchell Falls and beside a delightful waterhole on Camp Creek, Ungolan Wilderness Camp is perfect for exploring one of the Kimberley's most amazing attractions. Ungolan boasts minimal environmental impact - giving guests the unique opportunity to be surrounded by untouched habitat. Stroll through the Livistona palms and eucalyptus trees, or cool off in the camp waterhole. From the camp it's a short trip to the thunderous Mitchell Falls, a three-tiered waterfall cascading over the plateau's edge and into the Mitchell River. The only permanent accommodation on the plateau, you'll enjoy a complimentary glass of wine with dinner and are invited to bring other alcoholic beverages (alcohol cannot be purchased from camp). The Wunambal people welcome you to explore Ngauwudu (Mitchell Plateau), home to astounding waterfalls, ancient Aboriginal art and unique flora and fauna. Accommodating just 48 guests at any one time, Ungolan Wilderness Camp promises to deliver an intimate and unforgettable wilderness experience.

How To Get There
- Travel 58.9 km from King Edward River crossing along Port Warrender Road until you reach two drums.
- From the roadside drums, travel 3.5 km, crossing two creeks, before reaching Camp Creek crossing.
- From Camp Creek crossing, travel 2 km, turning left at a 'No Entry' sign.
- Travel 1 km to a creek crossing.
- From the creek crossing, travel a further 100 m, turning left at the 'KWA' sign.
