After departure, we fly across vast cattle country to Fitzroy Crossing. Here we join a boat cruise on the mighty Fitzroy River through Geikie Gorge*. The rock formations and colours of this ancient reef system are simply awe-inspiring, and fresh water crocodiles will often put in an appearance for the keen photographers.

After a tour of Fitzroy Crossing, we over fly Windjana Gorge formed by the Lennard River cutting through a 350 million year old Devonian period reef. The full length of Windjana Gorge can be viewed as we fly onto Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge for lunch.

After Mount Hart the next major attraction is the Horizontal Waterfalls (see Buccaneer Explorer itinerary for details). The tour returns to Broome at 5.30pm.

What to Bring

Safety restrictions apply and there are baggage restrictions on light aircraft. Baggage allowance on tours is usually 8 kg per person. Whilst travelling light, we suggest you always take a minimum of sunglasses, hat, water bottle and sunscreen. A bathing towel is also useful as many of our tours offer the chance of a swim. It's best to pack a small backpack or soft bag and these will be stowed in the aircraft's luggage hold.

Cancel 2-7 days prior to the tour date 50% refund, cancel later than 24 hours, no refund.
