Mitchell Falls Prince Regent

Overview

"Takes full advantage of the ability to fly, permitting access to the very remote and spectacular Prince Regent Nature Reserve."

Departing from Broome, via Derby (Wet Season) or Mt Hart (Dry Season) where we stopover for morning tea. We then head north past the Walcott Inlet and Harding Range to the King's Cascade waterfalls at the Prince Regent River. We pass over the falls in both directions before continuing down the Prince Regent River to St George's Basin and Mount Trafalgar.

From St George's Basin we continue onto to Kuri Bay, home to one of the largest pearl farms in the Southern Hemisphere. Across Collier Bay and Montgomery Reef, which is a breeding grounds for humpback whales, which can often be seen in the bay during cooler months.

Onto to the Horizontal Falls Waterfalls (itinerary continues as described for the Buccaneer Explorer KL 1) followed by a lunch stopover at Cape Leveque. We return to Broome at 4.30pm.

What to Bring

Safety restrictions apply and there are baggage restrictions on light aircraft. Baggage allowance on tours is usually 8 kg per person. Whilst travelling light, we suggest you always take a minimum of sunglasses, hat, water bottle and sunscreen. A bathing towel is also useful as many of our tours offer the chance of a swim. It's best to pack a small backpack or soft bag and these will be stowed in the aircraft's luggage hold.

Cancel 2-7 days prior to the tour date 50% refund, cancel later than 24 hours, no refund.
