Mitchell Falls Cultural Experience

Overview

A one day, one night tour to the Mitchell Falls and the fascinating Mitchell Plateau. This tour departs from Kununurra by light aircraft after an early morning pickup from your accommodation. Arriving at the Mitchell Plateau airstrip, we are met by our guide and taken to the Ungolan Safari Camp for breakfast.

Depart from Ungolan by 4WD vehicle to the Mitchell Falls, where you will take a guided tour of not only the falls, but also the many Aboriginal art sites that are located within the area. After lunch at the Falls and a refreshing swim, you will then have the opportunity to either walking out of the falls or taking one of the spectacular helicopter flights that are available.

Overnight accommodation is at the Ungolan Safari Camp adjacent to the Kandiwal Aboriginal Community. The following morning, you will embark on an 8.00am flight to Kununurra, arriving at approximately 9.30am.

This tour may not be available in MAY if we have had a big 'wet season' .
