Description: Taking off from The Seaplane Base, it is hard not to be awed as beautiful Sydney Harbour unveils itself beneath. Our immaculately restored, classic Beaver seaplane adds to the nostalgia - such a contrast to the myriad of high-tech cruisers zigzagging the bay. As we gently exit the harbour rolling swells crash against the magnificent sandstone cliffs which rise abruptly from the sea.

We fly along these cliffs at 500 feet until reaching world famous Bondi Beach. Our pilot manoeuvres the aircraft so that all on board have a great view, and we marvel at the hundreds of surfers waiting for the next big wave. From Bondi we head back into the harbour and climb to 1000 feet, even for a seasoned local the vista is truly stunning. We track all the way to the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, and complete a circuit above both famous icons. On descent back to Rose Bay our pilot points out the beautiful houses of the rich and famous that punctuate the area, including Nicole Kidmans and the Prime Ministers, before gently splashing back down to earth.

Description: For those wishing to treat themselves to the absolute highlights of Sydneys famous coast and waterways the 30 minute Sydney Secrets flight is a must! Encompassing the ever popular Sydney Highlights scenic flight, we continue north from Sydney Harbour.

Our experienced pilots know this area like the back of their hand and will point out the famous beaches along the route, including Manly, Curl Curl, Avalon and the iconic Palm Beach where Australias favourite soap Home and Away is filmed. We return to the Harbour via the yachties paradise of Pittwater. You will be amazed at the number of boats grouped around the nooks and crannies of this picturesque waterway. Our sedate, high wing beaver aircraft is perfect for still or video photography.

opera House Backstage Tour & Sydney Secrets Flight

Commencing at 7:00am at the Sytdney Opera House this intimate tour grants exclusive access to areas normally reserved for the stars and their crew. Limited to a maximum of eight people per tour, your tour will visit the backstage areas of one of the businest performing arts centres in the world as it prepares for the day's upcoming performances.

You will stand on the Concert Hall stage where soem of the world's performing legends such as Dame Joan Sutherland, Michael Buble, Pavarotti and Australian Idols have stood; take up the conductors baton in the Opera Theatre orchestra pit; peek indie the dressing rooms of the stars and hear about the secrets and real-life dramas that go on behind the curtain. Your tour ends with a full breakfast in the Green Room - the private domain of preformers and staff. The duration of the Backstage Tour is two hours.

On completion of the backstage Tour you will board the Sydney Seaplanes water taxi for the transfer form the Sydney Opera House to Rose Bay. The Water Taxi transfer is approximately 20 minutes.

On arraival at Rose Bay you will board your flight for the Sydney Secrets flight which tracks through the Sydney Heads and along the Northen Beaches, viewing a number of Sydney beaches including Manly, Curl Curl, Freshwater, Dee Why, narrabeen, Avalon, Whale Beach and Palm Beach. Tracking around Palm Beach and Barrenjoey Lighthouse your flight continues down Pittwater, commonly known as "Yachtsmans Paradise to see the yachts sailing down Pittwater and at anchor in this stunning waterway.

Your flight returns along the Northen Beaches and enters Sydney Harbour for a circuit in front of the Bridge and opera House before landing back at Rose Bay. On arrival in Rose Bay the water taxi awaits to whisk you back to Circular Quay, Campbells Cove or Darling Harbour.

Working with new, rich audio-visual components, where images are projected onto the fabric of the building - our guides will take you on an emotional journey, engrossing you in a story to rival any opera plot with its dramatic twists and turns.

You'll visit at least one of our venues - where we live performance every day. Some 1,500 performances, from opera to circus, rock and cabaret, are staged each year to audiences of around 1.5 million.

On completion of the Backstage Tour you will board the Sydney Seaplanes water taxi for the transfer from the Sydney Opera House to Rose Bay. The water taxi transfer is approximately 20 minutes.

On arrival at Rose Bay you will board your aircraft for the Sydney Highlights flight. This flight encompasses the views along the coastline to Bondi Beach and returns into the Harbour to fly a circuit in front of the Bridge and Opera House before landing back at Rose Bay. On arrival in Rose Bay the water taxi awaits to whisk you back to Circular Quay, Campbell’s Cove or Darling Harbour.

Description: Perched high on the edge of a cliff, enjoying dramatic views of Whale Beach and the sprawling Pacific Ocean, Jonah's at Palm Beach is one of Australias most prestigious ocean retreats. Something of a Sydney institution, Jonahs salubrious guest list has included Laurence Olivier, Anthony Hopkins, Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall. Departing Sydney Harbour late morning your seaplane flight tracks north past Sydneys spectacular northern beaches before touching down in the expansive waterway of Pittwater.

Jonahs courtesy vehicle will meet you at the dock and transfer you the short distance to the restaurant. Celebrated chef Richard Purdues superbly crafted dishes integrate a strong Asian and European influence with the best of Australias fresh local produce, and are always impeccably flavoured and presented. The restaurant boasts 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, well spaced tables and a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Enticing you to leave such a stunning location is difficult, but we find the prospect of a glorious afternoon seaplane flight back to Rose Bay, encompassing a Sydney Harbour circuit in front of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House does it for most!

Peats Bite

Description: Peats Bite is situated on a little slice of paradise on the Hawkesbury River. Since opening in 1982 Peats Bite has developed a reputation for long relaxed luncheons. It's unique three-course menu incorporates banquet style entrees with a la Carte mains and desserts.

After pulling up to Peats own seaplane dock, sit back and enjoy the food, wine and live music. It is not uncommon for diners to have a between course dip in the pool or sit out on the lawn with coffee and dessert looking over the vista that is the Hawkesbury. The seaplane flight to and from Peats Bite offers an excellent insight into life on the Hawkesbury River and our aircraft glides over many oyster leases and lifestyle holiday homes dotting the beautiful islands. The contrast could not be more dramatic as we complete the day with a circuit of central Sydney and her two centrepieces the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Description: Whilst sitting at your table with one of Australias best wines in hand and the gentle waters of the Hawkesbury River lapping beneath you it is hard to imagine that a mere 20 minutes ago you were in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Sydney. The award winning Cottage Point Inn restaurant is renowned for offering exceptional modern Australian cuisine in beautiful and tranquil surrounds. Upon landing we taxi the aircraft right to the restaurants seaplane dock, where a warm welcome awaits from Cottage Point Inns friendly staff. After a leisurely 3 course a la carte lunch you reboard your seaplane and return to Sydney Harbour. To top off a magical afternoon we complete a circuit of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, before landing at Rose Bay.

Its no surprise that most choose to do so on our romantic beach picnic. A seaplane flight along Sydneys exquisite northern beaches sets the scene for a truly special day. Your pilot picks out a beautiful secluded beach, accessible only by seaplane or boat, and drops you complete with delicious picnic, Australian wine, beach rug and umbrella. From here youre left to your own devices to relish in the beautiful natural setting, tranquillity and isolation. Bring a beach towel as swimming in the clear blue water is a must.

The arrival of our Beaver seaplane signifies it is time to return to civilisation. We try to make the transition a little easier by flying a lap of Sydney Harbour before landing in Rose Bay.
