Seaplane  charter flights operate daily between Rose Bay and Cessnock Airport. Our magnificent new aircraft will have you in the heart of the Hunter Valley in 30 breathtaking minutes. Your flight tracks past Sydney's Northern Beaches and Central Coast before turning inland past Lake Macquarie. You will experience the thrill of a water take-off in Rose Bay, and runway landing in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine country.

The Hunter Valley offers an exciting range of experiences including tours of world-renowned wineries, dining in any number of award winning restaurants, five star accommodation in luxury resorts, golf on two of Australia's most beautiful and challenging courses, relaxing day spas and health retreats.

(includes return flights, tour and tastings, lunch at Esca and complimentary door to door delivery of any wine purchases for Sydney residents).

DESCRIPTION
On disembarking from the aircraft step into your vehicle,  and your wine tasting experience begins!

You’ll have the opportunity to taste and purchase an array of wines and ports in selected boutique wineries, as well as an option to include a cheese tasting.

A highlight of the day is a gourmet lunch at renowned Esca Restaurant, Bimbadgen Estate, winner of the Best Tourism Winery at the prestigious Australian Tourism Awards 2006/2007. Esca’s location offers fantastic views over the Estate's famous Vineyards. Lunch is three course a la carte and includes a bottle of Estate Range wine and the option of a free range tasting in the members private tasting room, hosted by a member of Bimbadgen’s Cellar Door team.

To enhance the indulgence of your Hunter Valley experience, we visit the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company which offers a tantalising range of premium hand-made chocolates.

Your day concludes with an exhilarating scenic flight south to Sydney, tracking directly over the Harbour Bridge and Opera House before landing back at Rose Bay.

GOLF TOUR

It’s one thing to play on a Greg Norman designed golf course, but when you fly there and back in style, you’ll actually feel like Greg Norman

Price: $865 per person, minimum 2 adults
(includes return flights, Cessnock Airport transfers, 18 holes of golf, golf buggy hire, premium club hire, and a ‘Golfer’s Lunch’ at either Cypress Lakes or The Vintage club house).

Total tour duration: Total duration 6 hours, flying time approx 60 minutes, allowing 5 hours for 18 holes and lunch. Lunch can be taken at either the turn-around or the conclusion of your round.

DESCRIPTION
On disembarking from the aircraft at Cessnock Airport a transfer to your selected golf course will be waiting for you.

The Vintage:
Discover a unique golfing experience. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Brokenback Range, the Vintage boasts a spectacular 18-hole course designed by Greg Norman specifically to compliment the area’s natural environment. The Vintage ranks among Australia’s best golf courses and has recently received accolades from respected golfing publications.

Boarded by Beggars Bridge and Bimbadgen Vineyards, the impressive course measures 6,310 meters with a par of 71. Enjoy a relaxed game of golf on a course that winds gently around undisturbed wetlands, lakes and eucalyptus trees.

Cypress Lakes:
Unveiled in 1992, Cypress Lakes golf course was designed by Steve Smyers of Florida. Each tee and green has stunning panoramic views of the valley’s famous vineyards and surrounding mountains.

From the blue championship markers, the layout is a length of 6,359m, reducing to 5,975m from the men’s tees with the ladies facing a distance of 5,107m. The front nine is tree lined with sloping fairways and the back nine is a links style layout. The par 72 course is challenging with over 60 huge bunkers and dramatically shaped and elevated greens.

At the conclusion of your round a transfer back to Cessnock airport will be provided, followed by a spectacular return scenic flight to Sydney, tracking directly over the Harbour Bridge and Opera House before landing back at Rose Bay.

Available daily with a 10am departure from Rose Bay, landing back in Rose Bay approx 4pm.

Due to weight restrictions we will not normally be able to transport full sets of golf clubs. If you wish you can bring 3 of your favourite clubs.
