An underwater wonderland awaits you as you experience first-hand the breathtaking beauty of the Outer Great Barrier Reef. This cruise transfers you to a stable reef-activity platform which is a perfect base for swimmers and nonswimmers alike to explore this natural wonder. Snorkel (equipment provided) amongst beautiful coral gardens or stay dry and discover the reef from the underwater observatory and/or the air conditioned semi-submersible vessel. A tropical buffet lunch is served before you return to Cairns.

This morning is free for you to relax. This afternoon take the scenic drive to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures. On arrival, there's plenty of free time to explore the park, including the unique eco-experience of the wetlands cruise through the ecologically significant Melaleuca wetlands, the domain of the saltwater crocodile. Explore the rest of the park with its abundance of wildlife, including water birds, turtles, wallabies and cassowaries. See the notorious head shake and death roll of a huge crocodile at the Crocodile Attack Show. You'll also have the opportunity to be photographed holding a crocodile (own expense). Discover the world's most venomous snakes at the Snake Show before your return transfer departs at 4.50pm.

On arrival at Freshwater Station, board the Kuranda Scenic Rail for the journey to enjoy breathtaking views across the cane fields of Cairns, to the tropical rainforest of Kuranda. Wind through hand-hewn tunnels, across bridges and curves, all the time appreciating what an amazing engineering feat it is. In Kuranda it's time to explore this fascinating village. The Heritage Markets are full of colourful and interesting arts and crafts. You might also like to visit Birdworld, the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary or Kuranda Koala Gardens (all own expense). Later, board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for your 7.5km journey over and through World Heritage protected rainforest to Smithfield. This iconic experience showcases ancient rainforest and spectacular views with time at both Red Peak and Barron Falls Stations for education and interpretation.
