(L,D) Mt Field Visit Mount Field National Park - Highland Camp

Enjoy a choice of hikes in the Mount Field National Park, Lady Barron Falls, Russell Falls and Horseshoe Falls or roam in the highlands around Lake Dobson (+3hr walk) Time permitting head to The Styx Valley, home to some of Australia's tallest trees. Drive to our camp in near Lake St Clair. Evening walks in searching for platypus and exploring a ever changing mix of forest

(B,L,D) Lake St Clair - Tarkine

We drive west through Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park stop to look out into the Wilderness World Heritage area from Donaghy's Lookout. We head to the west coast for some remarkable beaches or short but spectacular hikes. We make our way a little further north to the enchanting Tarkine, the largest cool temperate rainforest in the southern hemisphere

(B,L,D) Tarkine rainforests and rivers

Waking up close to the Pieman River we are well placed to explore this ancient ecosystem that is a snapshot of Gondwana land as it once was. A paddle on the river in the evening or next morning is a special experience. A range of short to medium length walks through this spectacular region are available. We stay in the same camp tonight

(B,L,D) Tarkine - Cradle Mountain

More walks or an early morning paddle on the serene Pieman river round off our Tarkine experience before we head to Cradle Mountain. We will set up camp and then explore the many wonders of one of Australia most famous national parks. There are many choices of walks to cater for all fitness levels and weather conditions

(B,L) Cradle Mountain - Launceston

Today is an opportunity to do more fantastic walks in the park before making our way back to Launceston. It is an option to conclude your tour here and stay in Cradle to make the most of this spectacular region and we can assist you with making other transport arrangements
