Description: Cradle Mountain National Park is an area of world famous scenery with a huge variety of walking trails to choose from. With around 5 hours of time to spend in the National Park we leave our walking itinerary flexible to suit our guests and the weather conditions on the day. Experience ancient rainforests, alpine heaths, glacial lakes, rugged mountains and some of Tasmania's iconic wildlife. We depart Launceston and travel via Sheffield, the town of murals, arriving at Cradle Mountain ready to tackle the walking tracks. For our major walk for the day, you can choose between the Dove Lake Circuit (6km track around 2 hours return walk), or for the more challenging head for loftier heights and spectacular views to Marion's Lookout (2.5 hours return walk). Enjoy your lunch relaxing in this scenic National Par and keep any eye out for the local and plentiful Wombats. Our return to Launceston takes us via Ashgrove Cheese Factory where you can sample the local flavours or enjoy a delicious locally made ice-cream. We return into Launceston around 6.30-7.00pm.

Description: Wineglass Bay has been voted many times amongst the top beaches of the world. A perfect crescent shape, stunning colours and dazzling white sand make this one of Tasmania's "not to be missed" locations. Wineglass Bay is nestled in the Freycinet National Park on the East Coast of Tasmania. One of Tasmania's first National Parks this is a coastal area rich in stunning landscapes. Pink granite mountains form the backdrop for secluded bays, pristine waters, white sandy beaches, local wildlife and walking trails.
We travel from Hobart heading east then following the coastline north. We travel through the seaside towns of Orford and Swansea as we make our way along the East Coast of Tasmania heading towards Freycinet National Park. On arrival at Freycinet we walk as a group to the Wineglass Bay Lookout where your guide will help you take those sought after photographs. Enjoy the moment and take in the rewarding and world famous view after your walk uphill. The walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout is one of the Great Short Walks of Tasmania and usually takes around 1 -1.5 hours and is a 1.3 km walk each way. The walk to the Lookout being an uphill walk and then downhill on the return leg.
From the Lookout you have the option to return to the start of the walk with our tour guide, or for the keen walkers you can choose to spend the rest of your time completing the walk down to Wineglass beach (2.5 hr return). Feel the famous sand between your toes, enjoy a lunch break or take a swim in this beautiful setting. The choice is yours.
If you choose to travel with our guide, we will explore more of the National Park and visit Honeymoon Bay, Sleepy Bay and Cape Tourville lookout and Great Short Walk.
After a very full 4-5 hours at Freycinet National Park you will then continue your journey onto Launceston. We have a brief stop in Ross Historic Village along the way.
We drop you to your Launceston accommodation around 6.30-7.00pm

Description: Join us for a fun and action packed day out on the Tasman Peninsula. Explore, discover and learn with our guides as we enjoy a variety of activities, walks, sightseeing and much more. The Tasman Peninsula is home to Australia's highest sea cliffs. We experience the drama and magnificence of these with a visit to Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen before beginning a short, easy but incredibly stunning cliff top walk via Paterson's Arch to Waterfall Bay. We believe this is the perfect introduction to the area and an invigorating way to begin our day.
As we enter the Port Arthur Historic Site, there is a wealth of information and history to take in and you will have ample time to explore and discover the nooks and crannies with around 4 hours on site. Your entry includes a complimentary Harbour Cruise around the Isle of the Dead and a guided walking tour with one of the Site's expert guides. Feel the sense of isolation experienced by the convicts in this "inescapable prison", discover the grim and violent history of the early Australian Penal system. Walk through the main penitentiary; see the solitary confinement cells and many more buildings in this World Heritage open air museum.
On the journey back to Hobart we stop briefly to sample some amazing chocolate flavours at the Federation Chocolate Factory and then we enjoy a short stop at the beautiful historic township of Richmond Village with time to meander the streets and walk across Australia's oldest bridge still in use - a convict built sandstone bridge, reported to be haunted!
Last but not least, before we re-enter Hobart we stop for a fabulous view of Hobart and Mt. Wellington from a local lookout. A picturesque way to return to the city.
We drop you back to your accommodation around 6.00pm. (Airport Drop Offs are available on this departure, on request via our office)
